Troubleshooting

Use this page when Firebot runs an effect but nothing happens in Minecraft.

Test connection fails

Check:

• Minecraft server is running.
• Server mod is installed.
• Firebot server address is correct.
• Bridge port matches the server config.
• Firewall allows the bridge port if Firebot is on another machine.

Effect runs but player is not affected

Check:

• Player Code is saved in Firebot.
• The Minecraft player is online.
• The Player Code still belongs to that player.
• The server log does not show a bridge error.

Amount is blocked

Use Request Limits in Haven Minecraft Settings.

The server config can limit:

• mob amount
• item amount
• damage
• potion seconds
• fire seconds
• teleport radius

Custom item or entity data fails

Test the data in a Minecraft command first.

Then paste the working data into Firebot.
