Firebot Events

Events let Minecraft activity run Firebot effect lists.

The server mod sends event data to the Firebot script. Firebot can then react with chat messages, overlays, sounds, counters, Channel Point logic, or more Minecraft effects.

How to use an event

  1. Open Firebot Events.
  2. Create or edit an event set.
  3. Add a new event.
  4. search for "Minecraft" in the event type dropdown.
  5. Choose a Minecraft event.
  6. Add filters if needed.
  7. Add effects to run when the event fires.

Example uses

  • Send a Twitch chat message when the player dies.
  • Play a sound when a quest completes.
  • Update an overlay when quest progress changes.
  • Log bridge errors while testing.
  • Start a follow-up effect list when a specific quest is abandoned.
