Firebot Settings
Open Settings > Scripts > Haven Minecraft after installing the startup script.
This page controls how Firebot connects to the Minecraft server bridge and which Minecraft player it controls.
Connection
Minecraft Server Address
The HTTP address of the server bridge.
Use this when Firebot and the Minecraft server run on the same PC:
http://127.0.0.1:8765
Use this format for another PC or hosted server:
http://SERVERIPHERE:8765
Replace SERVERIPHERE with the real server IP or domain.
Request Timeout Ms
How long Firebot waits before treating a bridge action as failed.
Default:
5000
5000 means 5 seconds.
Test Connection
Checks whether Firebot can reach the server bridge.
Use it after changing the server address or server config.
Minecraft
Minecraft Version
Controls the Entity/Item data firebot shows as examples and what it sends to the Server Bridge, it will automatically convert the data to the version selected, even if you have NBT data for 1.21.1.
Player Code
The code that links Firebot to the Minecraft player.
Without a valid Player Code, player-targeted effects cannot find the player.
Limits
Request Limits asks the server for the current server-side limits.
These limits come from the server config and can block values that are too high, such as mob amount, item amount, damage, potion duration, fire duration, or teleport radius.
Use this when an effect fails and you need to see what the server allows.
Statistics
Request Statistics asks the server for current bridge statistics.
The fetched values are cached in Firebot and can be used by quest statistics variables.
Quest Cache
The quest cache stores the latest quest event received from the server.
Quest variables can use this cached data outside the exact quest event that created it. This is useful for overlays, buttons, quick actions, and test messages.
Use Clear Quest Cache when you want Firebot to stop reusing the last quest values.
